Quality Assurance Service

The Quality Assurance Service is staffed by administrative personnel of NTUA and is headed by an employee of NTUA, of a specialty or category defined in the NTUA's Internal Regulations.

Specifically, the responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Service include:

a) the execution of the decisions and the secretarial support of the Quality Assurance Committee,

b) the submission of recommendations to the Committee and the preparation of materials for relevant decision-making,

c) cooperation with the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) and support for the internal and external evaluation and accreditation processes of NTUA, its individual academic and research units, and its first, second, and third cycle study programmes, including international programmes and joint programmes, as well as lifelong learning programmes in accordance with Law 4653/2020 (Government Gazette A’ 12),

d) the development, management, and monitoring of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of NTUA, especially the implementation of internal evaluation in accordance with the IQAS Quality Manual,

e) the coordination and support of NTUA and its units in implementing quality assurance procedures,

f) the collection and processing of data from all academic and research units, as well as from the administrative services of NTUA, regarding the implementation of quality assurance across all activities of the Institution,

g) the publication on the Institution’s website of information related to accreditation, internal and external evaluation of NTUA and its individual units,

h) responsibility for completing the indicator values within the framework of the annual performance report for the allocation of NTUA’s annual regular funding, in accordance with Article 16 of Law 4653/2020,

i) responsibility for updating the information system of the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP), as well as the National Integrated Quality Information System (OPESP) of the HAHE, with the Institution’s quality data and for developing interoperability with it,

j) performing any other responsibilities defined in the Internal Regulations of NTUA related to the scope of the Quality Assurance Unit.
