Sub-project 1:
Quality Assurance Units
The project concerning the Quality Assurance Units focuses on the implementation and support of new quality assurance processes, as well as on the development of a strategic framework for quality enhancement and continuous improvement within the Institution.
Purpose of the Project
The project aims to strengthen and upgrade the Quality Assurance Units of Higher Education Institutions through the systematic support of their operations and the integration of best practices in quality assurance and strategic planning.
At NTUA, the action is implemented through two Work Packages (WP), which specify the main intervention axes.
WP1: Development and operation of permanent structures and internal mechanisms of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS)
A) Development of a network of external stakeholders for the systematic feedback of quality assurance actions and operation of a registry of external stakeholders.
B) Evaluation of the learning outcomes of Study Programmes in collaboration with KEDIMA.
C) Development and operation of a stable cooperation mechanism with academic and administrative units for the implementation of internal and external quality assurance, through the designation of corresponding quality assurance officers.
D) Implementation of a communication program addressed to students for the promotion of quality improvements and achievements.
E) Development and dissemination of questionnaires for the annual collection of data and feedback from internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with the guidelines of HAHE for horizontal implementation.
WP2: Quality Assurance Strategy
A) Collection, analysis, and assessment of all external evaluation and accreditation reports of Study Programmes.
B) Preparation of documented reports and analyses on the evolution of institutional quality data and indicators.
C) Development and implementation of a methodological guide for the collection of quality data, in accordance with the guidelines of HAHE for horizontal implementation.
D) Development and support of the quality assurance strategy for the next five-year period.
E) Annual assessment and evaluation of the quality assurance strategy and its feedback process.
