ESPA QAU 2014-2020

 

The project “Enhancement of the Quality of Higher Education Institutions for Their More Effective and Efficient Operation – Support of MODIP – NTUA”, a co-financed program under the Operational Program “Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning” (NSRF 2014-2020), was implemented using the University’s own resources through the Special Account for Research Grants.

The project, with a total duration from 1 November 2021 to 31 October 2023, aimed at redesigning and reorganizing the internal quality assurance processes of NTUA in order to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency and to embed a culture of quality.

MODIP is responsible for the organization, operation, and continuous improvement of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS), for the implementation and coordination of internal evaluation processes of academic and administrative units, as well as for supporting external evaluation and accreditation processes, within the framework of the principles, guidelines, and directions of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE).

For the completion of the Programme, the following actions were implemented:

Subproject 1

WP 1: Training of staff in quality management issues

  • Action 1.1: Training of members of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU/MODIP) and the Programme Quality Assurance Groups (OMEA)

  • Action 1.2: Training of Directors and Heads of Organisational Units

  • Action 1.3: Training of members of the University Administration

WP 2: Reorganisation of quality assurance processes and functions

  • Action 2.1: Analysis, review and evaluation of the existing IQAS procedures

  • Action 2.2: Implementation of new procedures

WP 3: Staffing of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU/MODIP)

  • Action 3.1: Support of the QAU/MODIP

WP 4: Design, monitoring and evaluation of the Project

  • Action 4.1: Monitoring, coordination and control of the Project implementation
