Accreditations of Undergraduate Programmes of Studies

The accreditation of the Undergraduate Study Programs of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) constitutes a formal external evaluation process aimed at ensuring and continuously improving the quality of higher education. Through this process, it is confirmed that NTUA’s study programs fully comply with the quality standards set by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) and align with the principles of the European Higher Education Area, as defined in the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG 2015).

The process includes internal preparation and documentation by the School, submission of the accreditation file to HAHE, an on-site visit by a Committee of External Experts, and the decision of the HAHE Council to grant accreditation.

Accreditation demonstrates that each NTUA study program has clearly defined learning outcomes, up-to-date content, adequate and transparent evaluation procedures, as well as mechanisms for continuous feedback and improvement. At the same time, it confirms the Institution’s commitment to the principles of academic excellence, innovation, and ongoing quality assurance.
